Terms of Service
Last updated: September 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Freeform ("Freeform," "we," "us"). By using sharefreeform.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Freeform lets you generate full-stack applications from natural-language prompts. Generated apps run in sandboxed environments with persistent storage and can be shared via a link, public, private, or restricted to invited people, depending on your settings.
2. Accounts
You need an account to save and share apps you build. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Plans and billing
Freeform offers a free tier and paid plans (Base, Pro, Team) with different usage limits and features, described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
4. Your content
Ownership. You retain ownership of the apps you create and any content you put into them.
License to us. You grant Freeform a license to host, store, and run your content, solely to provide the Service to you and anyone you share it with.
Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for what you build and share, including any third-party API keys or credentials you add to a generated app and any costs or consequences of their use, the content and legality of anything you make public, and compliance with any third-party service's own terms (for example, Stripe's, if you connect it to a generated app).
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Freeform to build or share anything that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes someone else's rights
- Distributes malware, or is designed to abuse, attack, or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Harasses, threatens, or harms others
- Attempts to abuse the sandbox environment or resource limits, including cryptocurrency mining, spam distribution, or denial-of-service activity
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6. Sharing and public links
If you make an app public, anyone with the link can access it, and it may be discoverable by others, including search engines. You're responsible for choosing the right visibility setting for what you build.
7. Third-party services
Generated apps may connect to third-party services via API keys or credentials you provide. Freeform is not responsible for the availability, security, or conduct of any third-party service you choose to connect.
8. Intellectual property
Freeform and its branding, design, and underlying technology are our property. These Terms don't grant you any rights to Freeform's own intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freeform is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Freeform harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. If your account is deleted, your data is removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in the United States, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
